Last Monday and Tuesday (May 13th & 14th, 2024), the scientific seminar took place in Linz where we participated with the i3Sense project and provided insights into our ongoing research. Claudia Pretschuh discussed new approaches for sustainable electronics and sensors on paper and wood, while Arunjunai Mahendran shared insights into bio-based thermoset resins. Nitin Gupta gave a presentation on the online monitoring of dielectric curing of thermoset prepreg composites. Alexander Schneider concluded with his discussion about monitoring moisture uptake in wood by detecting acoustic emissions.
This was a rewarding experience to engage with fellow researchers and share knowledge in the field. 🌳🔧
